It's Only Thursday, But Here's Some Good News

Up there in New Hampshire--AKA Kyle and Stan country--the House has rejected a bill that would have repealed same-sex marriage; and it is a Republican-controlled House, who voted 211-116 against the repeal. Even if the bill had passed, Governor john Lynch pledged to veto it.
Now that is good news.
Still, it was a somewhat contentious debate with the usual haters and their hate-speech and talk of bestiality and pedophilia and ruining traditional marriage, yet at least one Republican gets what the issue is all about.
Representative Jennifer Coffey, praised the rejection of the bill, saying, "I'm pleasantly surprised to find out that a lot of my colleagues believe as I do and follow the true path of liberty -- small government -- and got government out of the pulpits of faith."
Got government out of the pulpit! Indeed.
See, gay folks have been able to marry in New Hampshire for the last two years and the state hasn't fallen to pieces. And it won't. it's marriage, people, and we have far more important things to worry about than whether Kyle and Stan got married, eh?
Congrats to New Hampshire, and to those Republicans up there who "get it".
