You Can't Pick Your Family.......

....but if you could, I think Sarah Palin would be having second thoughts.

It seems her sister-in-law, her husband Todd's half-sister, Diana Palin pled not guilty to burglary charges in Palmer, Alaska yesterday. Diana Palin is facing four felony counts of burglary and theft and four misdemeanor counts of criminal trespassing and theft stemming from two alleged break-ins at the same property on March 31 and April 2; she has been in custody since April 2nd.

Police say she entered a Wasilla home to steal money for the second time in a week but was nabbed by the armed homeowner. Then, her 4-year-old daughter walked into the house! Yes, she likes to spend quality time with her children, so she allegedly takes them on little Breaking-and-Entering trips!

Now, I'm no fan of Sarah Palin......really?.....but she must be foaming at her lipstick over this story. If she had her way, I imagine, Sarah would ask that Diana be set free into the Alaskan wilderness so she could be hunted down via helicopter.

Poor Sarah. The non-abstinence loving daughter. The never-was-son-in-law dissin' her on Tyra. John McCain says he isn't sure he'd support her in a presidential bid. And now, this. A half-sister-in-law who burgles.

  1. This cracks me up! She presented her and her family as if they were the perfect slice of Americana.

  2. News was saying her pick for AG in Alaska is a throwback of sorts (homophobia, misogamy, racist) and that she was going to introduce all sorts of conservative social issues to the legislature when it sits again. It will keep her in the news, keep her the darling of the religious right and I guess place her (where?) for a run in 2012. Does kind of feel like the last gasp of the social conservatives combined with NOM. They are getting silly.
